What's Inside

Redux

Water tubing in Harpers Ferry

On August 29, we're headed back to Harpers Ferry. This time, we’re riding the Shenandoah River. Considered the “Sunday drive of all river adventures”, kick back with us for a relaxing float downriver. Imagine spending 2-3 hours off your phone with just nature and an awesome travel crew.

Also, with schools starting up next week and Labor Day the week after, August 29th is looking to be a chiller weekend before the end-of-summer holiday. Don’t miss out!

How to Day Trip

Have a car? You can still join us

Did you know there are two ways to day trip with us? While we offer a Need-A-Ride option from Dupont Circle, Rosslyn, or Potomac Yard, we also have a Self-Drive ticket for those who prefer to drive.

It’s time to say good-bye to the 90°F days with 80% humidity. That’s sad news if you’re a salamander, but great news if you’ve sat in front of your AC all summer.

Our early fall tour line-up is here! The first trip is live on Luma and you can save your spot for our trips further out.

  • 9/19: Views & Brews: Sky Meadows State Park (sign-up open)

  • 9/26: Apple 🍎 & Pumpkin 🎃 Picking 🫱 (save your spot)

  • 10/10: Twilight Hike and Stargazing — dep. afternoon, ret. after 9pm (save your spot)

  • 10/24: Old Town ALX Urban Outdoors Tour 🍁👁️ 📸 — metro accessible (save your spot)

  • …more to come for early November
